Johnson Catalyst basses are built with a one-piece maple neck. The neck is adorned with a bound rosewood fretboard and nickel/silver frets. It is topped with inlaid mother-of-pearl fret markers in a sharktooth design. Johnson Catalyst basses also feature diecast gold-plated tuners for reduced string slippage.
